In Continuum Releases Follow Up Album Acceleration Theory Part Two: Annihilation

For immediate release

November, 27, 2019 , Miami Florida – In Continuum announces the release of their second album! Earlier this year frontman Dave Kerzner had collaborated with his Sound of Contact band mates past and present to put out the first in a series of sci-fi fi progressive rock albums called “Acceleration Theory” with his new band/project In Continuum.

Now, at the end of the same year, comes the follow up album called “Acceleration Theory Part Two: Annihilation” which has just become available on CD and HQ digital download from Kerzner’s Sonic Elements Bandcamp as well as being available on Apple iTunes, Amazon and others.

“This second album offers a satisfying conclusion to go along with our first album which ended on somewhat of a cliffhanger” says Kerzner “But, that doesn’t mean it’ll be the last one in the series”.

Acceleration Theory Part Two: Annihilation is the follow up album to In Continuum’s Acceleration Theory Part One: AlienA released in January 2019. Both are cinematic Progrock concept albums dealing with alien visitation in the future and the fate of mankind. Like their debut, the new album once again features an all star cast of musicians including: Dave Kerzner, Matt Dorsey and Randy McStine from Sound of Contact, vocalist Gabriel Agudo from the Steve Rothery Band, drummers Nick D’Virgilio and Marco Minnemann (of Big Big Train and The Aristocrats respectively) and special guests Michael Sadler (Saga), Jon Davison (Yes), John Wesley (Porcupine Tree), Fernando Perdomo (Dave Kerzner Band), Leticia Wolf (The Dead Deads) and more.

The album was mixed and produced by Dave Kerzner and features songs written mainly by Kerzner with a variety of tracks co-written with Simon Collins, Kelly Nordstrom and Matt Dorsey from Sound of Contact.

Dave Kerzner Announces New Progressive Rock Supergroup, “In Continuum”

Monday, March 19th, 2018, Miami, Florida: American musician, songwriter, producer, sound designer, co-founder of the band Sound of Contact and lauded progressive-rock artist Dave Kerzner, has announced the birth of a new progressive rock super-group named “In Continuum”. The band consists of Kerzner at the helm as the main songwriter and keyboardist, sharing lead vocal duties with Gabriel Agudo (Steve Rothery Band / Bad Dreams).

Joining Kerzner and Agudo on the debut album – set for release later in 2018 – are top multi-instrumentalists Matt Dorsey (Sound of Contact) and Randy McStine (Sound of Contact, The Fringe), former Porcupine Tree and Sound of Contact touring guitarist John Wesley, drummers Nick D’Virgilio (Big Big Train, Spock’s Beard) and Derek Cintron along with guitarist Fernando Perdomo from the Dave Kerzner Band. Special guests on the album will include singer Jon Davison (Yes) and guitarist Steve Rothery (Marillion).

“In Continuum will have a similar approach that Alan Parsons Project or King Crimson has had in that it will feature multiple singers and musicians” says Kerzner “Each album will have a cast of players best suited for the material.”

The music of “In Continuum” is described as “sci-fi-themed space rock” and stylistically it’s a cross-over blend of progressive rock and mainstream alt rock.

Kerzner says “My role in Sound of Contact writing lyrics and music for keyboard-driven progressive rock music is similar to Tony Banks’ role in one of my favorite bands, Genesis. I’ve created ‘In Continuum’ as a new vehicle and outlet for that musical side of me to continue while I explore other areas in my solo work”.

In Continuum will be performing on Cruise To The Edge, Feb 4-9, 2019, and at Progstock 2018 in Rahway, NJ in October 2018. More shows and further details regarding the album release will be announced at a later time on http://incontinuumband.com
